Artist works out exactly how long Godzilla's legs are to stand in ocean and people can't unsee it

An artist has drawn out what Godzilla’s legs would look like standing in the ocean and the results are... interesting to say the least.

Godzilla Minus One was first premiered in Japan on 3 November, 2023 to celebrate the 69-year anniversary of the monster movie franchise.

It has since been released in theaters and has surpassed the $100 million milestone at the global box office ahead of the black and white release.

It's even managed to bag a spot on the Oscar's shortlist for Best Visual Effects.

Now, internet users have become obsessed with a drawing that one artist has shared, depicting just how long Godzilla’s legs actually are.

A Reddit thread has emerged with people questioning just how realistic a fire breathing monster taking over the world WITH massive, long legs really is.

One user wrote: "Whoa dude he could be a Victoria's Secret model."

Another made an interesting alternative point, questioning: "How do you know he is not shooting a beam out of his a** and using the thrust to stay afloat."
While someone else pondered: "People also don't question another inconsistency on how Godzilla doesn't melt people into puddles of radioactive goo just by being in close proximity."

Although that is definitely not the most unrealistic part of the whole concept, one user totally debunked the comment, posting: "I literally just finished this movie an hour ago and when he gets supercharged he absolutely melts metal and brick as he walks around. At least one person dies from this."

"Naa he's just kicking his stumpy lil lizard legs hard as f**k," someone casually added, while another replied: "This is what creates the waves in our oceans." It all makes sense now.
The image has resurfaced as the new film gains popularity, but it actually came to light a couple of years ago.

The artist - Bro, don't like that la, bro - posted their imagined snapshots alongside the caption: "This problem was pointed out by my friend Dan Khoo so I tried to figure out the problem with this one scene from the movie.

"Maybe the real problem is that I think too much."

Some were there to point out larger holes in the cover poster, with one writing: "I am guessing the real problem with this scene is that there is a gigantic lizard monster breathing blue flame out of its mouth."

Others had some theories of their own as another added: "Godzilla can swim fast & dive sure can float also. He has swimming skills... The big tummy can also support floating as a buoy."
