Supernatural star Mark Sheppard brought back to life after six ‘massive’ heart attacks

Mark Sheppard, known for his role in Supernatural, has shared the harrowing details of his recent resurrection after enduring six 'massive' heart attacks last week.
The actor, recognized for his appearances in projects like In the Name of the Father and Megalodon, expressed profound gratitude to his wife, Sarah Louise Fudge, for saving his life during the near-death experience on December 1.

At the age of 59, Sheppard experienced a 'widowmaker' event, a highly lethal cardiac arrest where the largest coronary artery (the LAD) becomes entirely blocked.

This distressing episode involved four resuscitations as Sheppard collapsed in his Los Angeles kitchen. The actor took to Instagram to inform his 1.7 million followers, sharing a photo from Providence St Joseph California, depicting him lying in a hospital bed with heart monitors attached to his chest.

In his Saturday post, Sheppard revealed, "You're not going to believe this! Was on my way to an appointment yesterday when I collapsed in my kitchen. Six massive heart attacks later, and being brought back from the dead four times, I apparently had a 100 percent blockage in my LAD. The Widowmaker."
"If not for my wife, the @losangelesfiredepartment at Mullholland, and the incredible staff @providencecalifornia St Joseph's, I wouldn't be writing this. My chances of survival were virtually nil. I feel great. Humbled once more. Home tomorrow! #spnfamily."

Numerous co-stars of Sheppard have taken to the comments section to extend well-wishes following his recent health scare.
Misha Collins, the actor's co-star, remarked on his remarkable recovery, saying: "Mark! You don't need to do the most and biggest every time! 6 heart attacks? 2 or 3 would have been impressive enough. You've impressed us, okay. Now stop with this, heal up, and get back on the road with us. Love you, pal."

Other followers also shared their sentiments, with one expressing relief: "Omg Mark, I am so glad you’re recovering; this is awful! Sending all my love to you and the family." Another commented, "Jesus Christ... oh man Sheppard, that’s way too close, man. Praying you get well soon and back on your feet. Take care of yourself, brother."

Sheppard and Fudge, married in August 2015 and later held a ceremony in Malibu, California in November 2016. They welcomed their daughter, Isabella Rose, in March of the same year, with the seven-year-old frequently featured on the couple's Instagram pages as they document their lives.
