Marta Stewart's incredible reaction to being called 'hot' at 82

Martha Stewart received a surprising compliment when Drew Barrymore referred to her as "hot" during a recent conversation, and Stewart's response was truly impressive!

At 82, Stewart is undeniably a national treasure, and each interview she participates in further solidifies this perception.

During a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Stewart openly discussed her thoughts on the unexpected admiration she has garnered for online photos, often described as "thirst traps."

The dialogue veered into intriguing territory in the episode broadcasted on Friday, December 8, when Stewart delved into her debut in the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition and her recent recognition as one of The New York Times' Most Stylish People of the Year.
Watch the interview below: Curious about Stewart's viewpoint, Barrymore inquired of the 82-year-old, "How does it feel to be considered this attractive?"

Stewart chuckled in response, stating, "I had to wait a long time. It's somewhat melancholic, you know? You wait so many years, and then, finally, you're deemed 'hot'? Oh God, I was hot when I was, you know, 19."

Nevertheless, despite her perspective on the matter, Stewart's beauty has been a source of admiration, maturing gracefully like a fine wine over the years.

Not only do many believe that her appearance has improved with age, but her confidence has also seen a significant boost, especially since her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit feature.

Stewart even hinted at a potential return to the magazine, expressing her desire to bare even more skin and grace the cover in a bikini.

"I'm currently working on attaining a bikini body," Stewart disclosed in an interview with PEOPLE on the red carpet at the 2023 Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York City last month.

She revealed that donning a two-piece swimsuit is now her "latest goal."

Earlier this year, Stewart addressed the attention to her age-defying appearance in her 80s, stating, "It is a testament to good living. I think all of us should focus on good living and not on aging. The whole aging thing is so dull."

Stewart expressed her desire that her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover would encourage women to embrace new experiences, saying, "Trying new things is very beneficial. Being fearless is very beneficial. Don't be afraid of anything."
Known for her timeless style, Stewart continued to captivate fans by channeling her inner Audrey Hepburn in a recent homage to Breakfast at Tiffany's.

It's safe to say that Stewart is showing us all that getting older doesn't necessarily mean losing your good looks!
