Despite her readiness to move on, Brown acknowledged the valuable experience she gained on the show, stating that it provided her with "the tools and the resources to be a better actor." Unlike many actors who find it difficult to part ways with their on-screen colleagues, Brown expressed confidence that she would still maintain her friendships: "When it ends, I’m going to be able to still see these people."

Since her breakthrough in Stranger Things, Brown has collaborated with renowned figures in the industry, including Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter, Alexander Skarsgård, and Sally Hawkins. She is currently working alongside Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt in the upcoming film The Electric State, set to be released in 2024.
