It has been reported that Miley Cyrus' sister Noah Cyrus and Dominic Purcell had been seeing each other and ended things before he entered a relationship with their mom.
The 'Party In The USA' superstar's mom, Tish, began dating the Prison Break actor in July 2022, three months after she ended her 28-year marriage with Billy Ray Cyrus, citing irreconcilable differences.
One year later, the 56-year-old - who has managed Miley since the beginning of her career - tied the knot with Purcell at an intimate ceremony in Malibu, California.
Photos from the day obtained by ET, show the mom-of-five looking resplendent in a white, strapless gown with a lace overlay, with her blonde hair down in loose waves with a veil pinned to the back of it. Meanwhile, her 54-year-old beau kept his look more casual in dark slacks and a white shirt.
While the rumors have not been confirmed by either side, one insider claimed to PEOPLE and US Weekly that Noah and Tish have not spoken and that there have been tensions in the family.
"Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends-with-benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up," one source said, alleging that "Tish knew he had been seeing Noah".
Though Noah and Purcell had stopped seeing each other when his relationship with Tish started, the source claims: "Tish never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married."
In addition to this, an insider for Entertainment Tonight claimed the mom decided against warning her youngest child about her budding romance with her ex. Noah, in return, is reportedly quite "offended" by the entire situation, per PEOPLE.
The 'July' musician did not attend her mother's wedding - which Miley served as the maid of honor - and instead spent time perusing the aisles of Walmart with her brother Braison, per Page Six.
Many saw their outing as a slight to Tish as Noah was sporting a Billy Ray Cyrus shirt,
She announced her engagement to fashion designer Pinkus in June 2023, captioning her now-deleted Instagram post at the time: "The greatest moment of my entire life was saying 'yes' to spending the rest of ours together."
"This past month of being your fiancé and being in our own little world of just us two has been so perfect and I wish I could never leave this time," she said, adding that her fiancé "the most talented, the most loyal, [and] the kindest person".
Meanwhile, Tish seems to have found a love that couldn't be denied as she gushed about her partner on the Call Her Daddy podcast. "I just feel like a completely different person," she said of her marriage to Purcell. "I am living my best life, and he is yummy."
Furthermore, she also seemed to address the rumors about Noah and Purcell that began circulating earlier this week on her podcast, Sorry We're Stoned, which she co-hosts the show with daughter Brandi Cyrus.
At one point during the show, they asked guest Wiz Khalifa to name the craziest rumor he'd ever heard about himself. He didn't have an answer, but Brandi took the opportunity to tease Tish, asking, "Mother, would you like to answer that?" per Fox News.
"I don't think …" Tish said before trailing off. Her 36-year-old daughter asked again if there were any wild speculations about her, and she said, "I don't think so." Brandi then pointed out: "I feel like there's been some crazy s***," and at the same time Tish acknowledged that rumors are going around about her, "but we're not going to talk about it."
The question came as part of a game the duo plays on their show where if someone passes on answering a question, that person has to "toke." So, Tish decided to "Toke," stating: "I'm absolutely toking on that one."
