Russian oligarch’s warning to Tom Cruise after he started dating his ex-wife

Tom Cruise has received advice from the Russian oligarch ex-husband of the new woman he was spotted getting close to recently.

The Top Gun actor has been romantically linked to Elsina Khayrova after eyewitnesses saw them looking cosy at a party on Grosvenor Square in London earlier this month.

Elsina, 36, was previously married to diamond and mining tycoon Dmitry Tsvetkov, while Tom, 61, was once wed to actresses Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes.

However, it’s Elsina’s ex-husband Dmitry, 43, who has spoken up about her reported new love interest.

‘Irrespective of whoever she’s with, Tom Cruise or anybody else, they should be aware that she likes the finer things in life and has expensive and luxurious taste. Tom should keep his eyes and wallet wide open,’ the oligarch told the Daily Mail.

Despite the warning, Dmitry insisted that he’s ‘happy’ for his former spouse and wanted to ‘wish her all the best.’

Elsina and Dmitry were married for 11 years and endured a highly publicised lengthy divorce that took three years to be finalised. Dmitry claimed he spent £10million on clothes and a further £2m on bags for his former spouse during their decade-long marriage.

His eye-watering wealth is said to have plummeted from £200m to £50m as a result of the marriage and divorce, while Elsina was awarded her expensive clothes and handbags in the settlement.

Their divorce battle hit headlines when Elsina was accused of hiding substantial assets from her ex, including her handbag collection.

‘I haven’t spoken with Elsina about this because our preferred method of communication is through our lawyers. She’s 36, she’s beautiful, financially independent and loves life,’ Dmitry said.

He added that he’s a huge fan of Tom’s blockbuster movies, including Eyes Wide Shut and Rainman, but claimed Elsina wasn’t aware of those films while they were together.

‘Tom Cruise is my favourite actor, he’s one of the best I have ever seen. I have watched a lot of his movies,’ Dmitry confessed.

Elsina, who is also the daughter of a prominent Russian MP, was seen canoodling with Tom at the Mayfair bash last December 9.

‘They were inseparable, clearly a couple,’ one guest at the event told the Daily Mail. ‘He seemed to be besotted with her.’

The pair then hit the dancefloor together and left the event in the early hours.
