Rephrasing the text Dick Van Dyke, 97, enjoys 'fun and scares' as he steps out for Halloween

Dick Van Dyke is showing his fans that even in old age, you can let loose and have fun.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, actress Jane Seymour posted a photograph standing alongside the 97-year-old actor, as well as theater star Amy Manford and musician William Joseph.

The foursome flashed wide smiles as they posed for the camera.
"Ghosts and ghouls bid their adieu, The fun and scares with @official_dick_van_dyke, @amy_manford, & @williamjosephmusic are now through, ⁣⁣⁣Halloween's delight takes its flight, ⁣⁣⁣Until next year, it’s time to vanish out of sight! ⁣⁣," Seymour wrote in the caption.

Fans were extremely delighted to see the pair back together after their very successful stint together in 2018's Buttons: A Christmas Tale.

"Impressive crew, hanging out on Halloween," wrote one user.

"This looks like a fun party!" added another.

"How awesome is that to be with Dick Van Dyke..." a third said while another Instagram user also echoed the same sentiment writing: "Awe with Dick Van Dyke, love you both."

Joseph also took to his own Instagram account to repost the photograph, but also added a series of other fun clips from the night, noting that "Dick Van Dyke sure knows how to throw a Halloween Bash!"

The other videos showed some amazing Halloween decorations including a giant animated Grim Reaper and a life-sized mummy.

Manford gave a sneaky look inside the event on her Instagram Stories and wrote: "Now this is what I call a street party", while sharing some exclusive content.

After also sharing the iconic group photo on her Instagram feed, she paired it with the caption: "I'll just leave this here" with a mind-blown emoji.

Van Dyke always seems to be up for a good time, despite turning 97 last year - but what's the secret to his youthful glow?

Well, a young wife, and regular workouts, according to the veteran entertainer.
Speaking to Yahoo! earlier this year, the Mary Poppins alum delved deeper into the things that keep him happy, and in turn, keep him feeling well and truly alive.

When asked what was his "secret for staying so youthful," he responded: "Having a beautiful young wife half my age to take care of me - that works!"

Van Dyke and his wife Arlene Silver have been married now for 11 years after the pair tied the knot back in February 2012, just a year after she moved into Van Dyke’s Malibu home. As per the Independent, the couple initially met at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2006 where Silver was working as a makeup artist and Van Dyke was making an appearance at the ceremony.

Although the actor was 81 and she was only 35 at the time, the two didn’t strike up a romance until after Van Dyke’s longtime partner Michelle Triola passed away from lung cancer in 2009.
During the interview, he also went on to add that his wife helps him maintain a "positive attitude" as well as encouraging him to keep a healthy lifestyle by working out three times a week.

"I advise everybody to do that, because that’s what ages people," he continued. "It’s just a stiffening up and not exercising their muscles and their lungs. Exercise is the answer."

So there we have it folks; keep healthy, keep hydrated, and get yourself a younger wife if you want to live a long and happy life.
