Heidi Klum's Christmas lingerie shoot with her daughter, 19, slammed as 'weird' and 'creepy'

Heidi Klum has sparked conversations by unveiling another lingerie photoshoot featuring her daughter. Teaming up with the Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi, the 50-year-old supermodel and her 19-year-old daughter Leni were photographed in red and black lace lingerie for the brand's Christmas campaign.
Although the products were stunning and aligned with the festive theme, many fans expressed discomfort with the idea of a mother and daughter promoting something so provocative together.

After posting a carousel of content - which included three photos and a video clip - to Instagram, Leni's comment section was filled with backlash.
"Doing a photo shoot with your mother in lingerie is still weird," commented one user.

And a second shared a particularly harsh message for Heidi in particular, writing: "Find this a little weird. Mother is 50...seriously jumping around together in lingerie is sick. Your mom needs to get over it and wake up....she's old."

Others also slammed the shoot as "cringe" with some even adding: "This is wrong in so many ways."

Not everyone was opposed to the photoshoot though.

"If someone asks me on New Year’s Eve what the best thing in 2023 was, I will show this post," one person wrote, with another hailing the post as "The best Christmas present".

Now, this isn't the first time this has happened.

Heidi also received a similar reaction earlier in the year when she posted another shoot with the same brand.

The photos showed off the mother-daughter-duo in matching, lace lingerie sets - Heidi donning a lilac two-piece with lace trimming, while Leni sported a white one with rainbow bead detailing as well as a satin over shirt.

The pair were also holding hands as they posed for the camera.

Despite the post merely advertising "the heart of Italian lingerie", it seems as though a lot of fans were left displeased at the premise of the shoot, which was branded as "weird" and "embarrassing."

Things got so intense that the 49-year-old was forced to turn off the comments on the post. Leni, however, also reposted the same photos but left hers on which meant that a lot of the hate ended up on her account too.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Klum addressed the backlash, saying: "It's been fun to shoot together. To do photoshoots together with her and just to see how she's just very comfortable and also comfortable around me even when we're doing underwear shoots or something like that."

Addressing the hate during an interview with Page Six Leni that she wasn't too fazed by the online trolling.
"I honestly didn’t look at a lot of the reactions," she told the outlet. "I am overall happy with the campaign and I had an amazing day with my mom. I think the photos turned out great, and we had an amazing time."

The 19-year-old then went on to talk about how she avoids looking at online comments and theories in general so she isn't usually aware of any criticism.

"I just don’t look at it, honestly," she said. "If I don’t look at it, I don’t have to pay any attention to it, so I just don’t know what is there."

It's probably best that way. Nevertheless, they both look incredible!
