Gemma Collins reveals cost of living crisis has forced her to stop eating caviar

TOWIE icon Gemma Collins has revealed that she is having to make cutbacks

The cost of living crisis has been a huge burden on families all over the country for the last year, but the GC has spoken out about how the crisis is affecting her lifestyle.

During a recent appearance on Celebrity Antiques Roadshow, Collins spoke out about she has been forced to make cutbacks.

The 42-year-old was joined by Melvin Odoom and antiques expert James Braxton as they tried to find the best bargains in Southend-on-Sea.

The group were exploring a shop called Sally’s Out of Curiosity, Collins was laying on the charm to try and bag a bargain.

“Sally, firstly I just want to say, you have got the most fabulous shop,” she said.

Store owner Sally retorted: “You’re not buttering me up, are you?”

After a bit of bartering, the duo settled on a price, but then Collins spotted a ‘random caviar bowl’ that she tried to get added on to her purchases as a freebie.

“No one eats caviar anymore because they can’t afford it,” Collins said.

“I wish I could, but since the cost of living crisis, I can’t. I’ve gone down to potted shrimps.”
