Robots told reporters in news conference they could be more efficient leaders than humans, but wouldn't take anyone's job away and had no intention of rebelling against their creators.
Perhaps the most fascinating response came after a reporter asked one of the robots if they would ever rebel against its creator.
The reply was certainly an interesting one, as Ameca - with what looked like a side-eye to the journalist - said: "I'm not sure why you would think that.
"My creator has been nothing but kind to me, and I am very happy with my current situation."
Here's hoping that is not a suspicious response.
