Hotel guest wakes up to manager ‘sucking on his toes in bed’




The guest is now suing the hotel chain
A guest at a hotel in Nashville woke up to find the night manager ‘allegedly ‘sucking his toes’, according to police.

Peter Brennan, from Texas, had been asleep in his room at the Hilton Downtown Nashville hotel on March 30. He was staying overnight so he could attend a work conference in the city.

At around 5am though, hotel employee David Neal, 52, let himself into Brennan’s room.

According to Nashville Metropolitan Police, he had cloned a key card to let himself in.

Brennan told police that he woke up to Neal’s mouth around his toes, WKRN reported.
He said: “I instantly jumped up and was screaming. Went into sort of fact-finding mode. Who are you? Why are you in my room? What are you doing here?

“I could see he was wearing a uniform, he had his name tag on. He was talking to me but not giving me any substantive answers.”

Neal claims he entered the room because he could smell smoke.

But police say he never reported smelling smoke to security and there were no other reports of guests or staff smelling smoke at the hotel.
Neal was arrested at his home in Lebanon on Friday and charged with aggravated burglary and assault, according to police.

Meanwhile, Brennan says he has been suffering from post-traumatic stress following the incident and has had trouble sleeping.

“I still don’t really feel safe in my own home,” he said.

He is also suing the suspect and Hilton Hotels over the incident.

“Hilton Nashville Downtown is independently owned and operated by a third party and no Hilton entity employs staff at this property. The safety and security of our guests is our top priority and Hilton takes matters such as these very seriously,” said a spokesperson for Hilton.

In a statement, the hotel management said it was cooperating with police.

“The safety and security of our guests and team members is our highest priority. We are working closely with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, and, as part of company policy, we do not comment on ongoing investigations,” the statement said.
