The bride’s dresses for the day were all custom-made by the big fashion house Chanel. Sofia Richie, the daughter of Lionel Richie and his second wife Diane Alexander, got married over the weekend. She wed British record executive Elliot Grainge in a stunning ceremony in the South of France.
Sofia Richie was born on August 24, 1998 to Lionel Richie and Diane Alexander, who divorced in 2004. She has dated Justin Bieber and Scott Disick of Kardashian fame in the past.
The bride’s dresses for the day were all custom-made by the big fashion house Chanel. She dazzled in a long-sleeved Chanel Haute Couture gown with a high-neck for her rehearsal dinner the night before the big day. The custom-made gown was beautiful with beads.
“This is like a fairytale. It really is. It’s like an art piece. I feel like a princess, I really do!” the bride exclaimed in a clip shared by Vogue, saying ‘I’m scared to move because I don’t want to ruin one bead.”
She completed her look with diamond drop House of Harlow 1960 earrings that her older sister Nicole Richie designed. The older sister Nicole Richie expressed her pride on her Instagram story, writing, “I will always remember this moment when I made these earrings for my sister.”
Sofia Richie wore another Chanel Haute Couture dress for the wedding itself. The dress had a halter neckline. She matched her custom dress with a glittering veil that was attached to her low chignon hairstyle. She looked stunning under her veil with a natural dewy look.
The bride herself shared a video of the moment she threw her bouquet, giving followers a glimpse of her dress and hairstyle.
She wore her third and last Chanel custom dress, a Chanel Haute Couture minidress set with two pieces, at her after-party following the ceremony.
“This is like my dream as a little girl,” the bride said. “And it’s amazing and cool that it’s inspired [by] Claudia Schiffer’s runway dress.”
Sofia started dating Grainge in 2021 and they got engaged a year later. Richie converted to Judaism before the wedding.
