Lea Michele Asks for Prayers After Her Son, 2, Is Hospitalized With 'Scary Medical Issue'

Lea Michele and her family seem to be having a pretty difficult week. On Wednesday, Lea revealed her 2-year-old son has been hospitalized with a "scary medical issue," forcing her to remain absent from that night's performance of Funny Girl on Broadway.
Lea shared the news on her Instagram Stories

Along with a photo of her hand on her son Ever's hand as he lay in a hospital bed, Lea shared the heartbreaking update with her followers.

"I’m so sorry but unfortunately I will be out of @funnygirlbway today," Lea wrote. "We are at the hospital with our son dealing with a scary health issue that I need to be here for."

She went on to ask fans for "love and strength."

'Funny Girl' shared that Lea would miss both performances of the show that day

Instead, understudy Julie Benko took her place in both the matinee and evening performances, and there's no update on when Lea will be returning just yet.

In the comments of the since-deleted post on Funny Girl's Instagram account, fans shared their well wishes for Ever.

"Sending love for her and her son, hope everything goes well," one person wrote.

So far, we haven't heard any updates on Ever

Lea has remained silent on social media since sharing her update, and so far, there's no word on how Ever is doing or what the medical issue might be.

Of course, this is understandable — we have a feeling that Lea and husband Zandy Reich are giving Ever 100% of their attention right now when he needs them most.

Last month, Lea took her son on a family vacation

She didn't disclose where they went, but judging by the beautiful photos she shared during her trip, it looks like somewhere tropical. Nothing like a week of fun in the sun while taking a break from a Broadway performance, which has to be pretty draining for her week after week.

We're sending Lea's fam all the positive vibes

Our fingers are crossed that the former Glee star will share an update on how Ever is doing soon, but until then, we're sending them all of the good, healthy vibes. Here's hoping that her little boy will be able to go home and feel better soon.

Please don't forget to SHARE this with your friends and family.
