The rapper was reportedly assaulted at a sauna in LA Fitness in southern Florida on March 21, and footage of the attack was shared on social media.

The attackers reportedly assaulted 6ix9ine for being a "rat," which refers to his involvement in taking down his former Bloods associates in exchange for a plea deal.

The attack was apparently reckless, as 6ix9ine did not have any personal security with him at the time.
