BREAKING: Andrew Tate loses latest appeal to be released from Romanian prison

Andrew Tate has lost his appeal against a 30-day extension of his detention in Romania.

As such, the controversial social media personality will stay behind bars, Sky News reports.
Tate was in the middle of an appeal in Bucharest against a decision by the judge on February 21 to keep him in a Romanian prison for an additional 30 days.

This comes amid the investigation into the sexual assault and human trafficking he and his brother Tristan have been accused of.

The two were brought into custody on December 29 and were originally detained for 24 hours, which was ultimately extended to 30 days. An additional 30 days were added in January, and another in February.
