Robert Irwin Gets Unexpected Message When He Turns 19 That Leaves Him In Tears.

It’s hard to believe that 16 years have passed since the tragic death of “The Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin.
The former wildlife conservationist and television host died from an injury caused by a short-tail stingray on September 4, 2006, leaving behind his devoted wife, Terri, and two young children, Bindi and Robert. Since that time, the Irwin family has continued to keep his legacy alive.

Robert recently turned 19 years old and received a special birthday surprise onstage at the Australia Zoo. After posing for a quick photograph together, Terri informed Robert there was special surprise to come — a video compilation of birthday messages from “a few people who could not be here today.”

Throughout the loving tribute, many people from across the globe wished Robert a happy birthday. The overall tone of the video was playful and upbeat. That is, until Robert’s late dad appeared on the screen and talked about the miracle of Robert’s birth. Hold on to your heartstrings!

“At that moment, at that very moment, I saw the light…,” said Steve in the video. “This is why I was put here, because after all, I could be dead tomorrow.”

Predictably, Robert became emotional at the sight of his dad sharing the ultimate birthday message. What a beautiful gift!
