14-Year-Old Girl Gives Birth, Walks Into Restaurant, And Leaves Baby With Strangers

It was an ordinary afternoon at the El Patron Mexican Restaurant in Jersey City, New Jersey, until the surveillance cameras captured a heartbreaking situation.

A teenage girl walked into the restaurant with a newborn baby wrapped in a towel. She locked eyes with the manager, Frankie.

Frankie instantly recognized the look of sheer desperation on her face. She was begging, with her eyes, for help from anyone at all.

As it turned out, the 14-year-old girl was the baby's mother.

A customer, Alease Scott, saw the teen. As soon as she caught sight of the newborn in her arms, she put down her lunch.
