'Star Trek' And '24' Star Annie Wersching Dies From Cancer At Age 45

Annie Wersching, known for her roles in 24, Ster Trek: Picard, and Timeless, has died after her fight with cancer.
Her diagnosis was confirmed by Deadline in 2020. The actress’s husband, Stephen Full, made a statement to the outlet following her death:

"There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn't require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. 'Go find it. It's everywhere.' And find it we shall."

Wersching was a mother to three boys and originated from St. Louis. She got her big break acting in movies like Bruce Almighty and on shows such as Star Trek: Enterprise, Charmed, and Supernatural.

Full’s statement per Deadline continued to detail Wersching’s love for her family and children.

"As I drove our boys, the true loves of her life, down the winding driveway and street, she would yell BYE! until we were out of earshot and into the world. I can still hear it ringing. Bye, my Buddie. 'I love you, little family…'"

The actress appeared on the show 24 for two seasons as Renee Walker and starred in Amazon Studios’ Bosch. She also worked on the hugely successful PlayStation game The Last of Us as a voice and motion capture actor.

Tributes to Wersching have flooded social media platforms from her former coworkers, friends, and family.
