Plenty of celebs celebrated the end of 2022 by sharing highlights from their year, but nobody's New Year's roundup included quite as many attention-grabbing moments as Jennifer Lopez's did. The newly married pop star shared some never-before-seen photos from her surprise Las Vegas wedding, among other glimpses into her rekindled romance with Ben Affleck. Set to a jazzy, upbeat musical score, the slideshow showcases her best moments from 2022. Jennifer had more than enough content to draw from, considering last year saw her release a new movie and a Netflix documentary, as well as stage a wedding nearly two decades in the making.
Her followers got a chance to see some candid photos from her Vegas nuptials.
Jennifer's highlights reel features a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment from her Sin City wedding ceremony. In the snapshot, people finally can catch a better look at the gorgeous, corset-style lace dress Jennifer wore when she made her first walk down the aisle with Ben.
The photo appears to have been taken using a self-timer, as Jennifer and Ben are snuggled up close, sharing a private post-marriage moment together.
We also saw more from her luxe Georgia wedding.
Jennifer's 2022 motto should have been "If your man's this nice you better marry him twice," because she made not one but two treks to the altar. Her end-of-year post also highlighted her second wedding and gave fans new glimpses of her stunning Ralph Lauren gown, including some of the behind-the-scenes steps she took to get to the final design.
It's clear the new bride has a lot to be thankful for. You don't need to look much further than Jennifer's caption to get a feel for her thoughts about last year. "2022 was one of the best years yet," she gushed in her caption. "I cannot wait for all that's to come next year."
She then hinted that there's much more to come from her in 2023, using hashtags including, "I'm just getting started" and "This is me now."
With one of arguably the most intensely watched and obsessed-over relationships in the world, it's no wonder Jennifer has tried to keep a lot of things to herself when it comes to her romance with Ben. But we're glad she was able to take a few moments at the close of the year to celebrate just how far the two of them have come together.
