Boy breaks down in tears after realizing mom who works 2 jobs bought him the gift he so dearly wanted

For parents, Christmas is all about sharing festive joy with their children, and this mother knew how to do just that. She gifted her son what he has been longing for just to see that happiness on his face. In a Tiktok video, a child can be seen opening his big Christmas gift and can’t hold back his excitement and starts shouting, “Oh my God!, Oh my God!.” And when he sees his mother crying, tears begin to roll down his cheeks.

The in-lay text read, “You’re a low-income mommy working two jobs and barely making it. But you managed to make his biggest Christmas wish come true.” The Playstation 5 costs about $399 to $499 and the mother knew what it meant to her son.

The Tiktok users could completely understand the mother’s struggle. A Tiktok user said, “this really messed me up because the year I barely saw my mom 'cause she was working hard to get me an Xbox 360.” Another wrote, “he made me tear up.” A third one wrote, “Ugh I’ve been there. My kids will never know the struggle we go through and they shouldn’t. You did amazing!” Yet another one pointed out, “You can tell he loves you so much.”

The video went viral with more than 11 million views and was captioned, “All the 15-hour work days that just seemed to drag on, all the exhaustion. worth it.” Talking about the Playstation 5, another boy was super-excited when his grandmother gifted him a PS5 for Christmas. TikTok user, abanks299, posted the video of his reaction and it has about 1.4 million views on the video-sharing platform. In the video, the boy is seen unwrapping a big present and he realizes that he has received what he wanted, he starts saying, “Oh my God!” He then goes to the grandma and says, "You are the best grandma in the whole world." She replies to him by saying, "Yes, I am and I know it." He goes on to ask her why she got such an expensive gift for him, and she replies, “You are my grandson and I wanted you to have this for Christmas."

That’s not all, for the second time in two years, a 12-year-old boy took it upon himself to be a secret Santa and get gifts for more than 100 foster children and kids in shelters who otherwise would not have been able to enjoy the festival this way. He was inspired by his father’s personal experience of being in a foster home. He told Good Morning America, "Based upon stories that I have from him, it didn't really sound like they had much of a Christmas."
