Actor Nicolas Cage, Who Was Once Married To Lisa Marie Presley, Mourns Her Tragic Death

Nicolas Cage is one of the many people mourning the tragic loss of Lisa Marie Presely.

Nicolas and Lisa Marie were married briefly, from 2002 to 2004. He filed for divorce just two months after their wedding. But Nic clearly always felt a lot of warmth toward his ex-wife, regardless of their short-lived marriage.

"This is devastating news," he told Entertainment Tonight. "Lisa had the greatest laugh of anyone I ever met. She lit up every room, and I am heartbroken," he said shortly after her death.

He continued, opening up about the one thing that brings him peace at this time. "I find some solace believing she is reunited with her son Benjamin," he shared.

Lisa Marie died suddenly on January 12 after going into full cardiac arrest at her Calabasas home. Just days earlier, she had attended the Golden Globe Awards, where she watched Austin Butler win for his amazing portrayal of her father in Elvis.
