A 28-Year-Old Male Suspect Has Been Taken Into Custody In The Univ. Of Idaho Murder Case

There is breaking news in the case of the mysterious University of Idaho murder case.
A suspect has been taken into custody in the slayings of four students whose deaths have remained a mystery.

Law enforcement revealed on Friday that Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, was apprehended in Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania and taken into custody.

The suspect was booked into custody on an arrest warrant out of Moscow, Idaho. He is accused of first-degree murder. He is to be extradited back to Idaho.

A Hyundai Elantra was taken into evidence.

Cara Northington, the mother of one of victim Xana Kernodle, says she feels some relief upon news of the arrest. “It’s been a nightmare," she told NBC News. "This whole thing has been a nightmare, literally. But I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.”
