Ryan Reynolds has leaped at the chance to use his infamous sense of humor on Nick Cannon, after the US television host recently announced he would be expecting his 11th child.

"We're gonna need a bigger bottle," Reynolds tweeted, in response to a People magazine article that revealed the news. Obviously, this was in reference to the smash-hit 1975 flick, Jaws. Although, it could also be a subtle reference to his alcohol brand, Aviation Gin.

This is because the pair actually teamed up to promote the Vasectomy cocktail in a Father's Day advertisement for Reynold's alcohol brand, Aviation Gin. In it, Cannon introduces the Vasectomy cocktail, quipping: "Lord knows I need one."

The Deadpool actor then steps in, just as Cannon finishes making the cocktail, saying: "I'll take it from here Nick, I have three kids."

"I have eight," 42-year-old Cannon replies, at which moment Reynolds spits out the cocktail at the camera.

Despite the clip only being posted five months ago, Cannon has gone on to father two more kids and announce the upcoming arrival of another one. Well, another two, actually, as just days after Reynold's tweet Cannon announced DJ Abby De La Rosa is pregnant with his 12th child! Talk about a real life Cheaper By The Dozen!

Babies number 11 and 12 will join the rest of the Cannon clan - including the 11-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, he shares with ex-wife, Mariah Carey. As previously reported, Cannon went on to father eight more children with five different women following his divorce from the megastar.

In 2017, Cannon fathered Golden Sagon to former Miss Arizona, Brittany Bell, with the couple subsequently having Powerful Queen in 2020. Twins with De La Rosa - Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir - arrived next in June 2021, followed by Zen S. with model Alyssa Scott. Sadly, Zen passed away from brain cancer at just six-months-old in December 2021. Both De La Rosa and Scott are currently pregnant with Cannon's children.

This year, San Diego native had Legendary Love with Brie Tiesi and Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole, as well as another child with Brittany Bell, named Rise Messiah.

The Wild 'n' Out TV host has previously revealed that he practices "consensual non-monogamy," which enables him to father numerous children with multiple different women, all without upsetting anyone in the process. "It all starts with honesty. It's really just surface, basic stuff. One of my therapists coined what I do as consensual non-monogamy. Because to even pretend like I’m in a monogamous relationship, that would be misleading," he said.

Cannon evidently got pretty busy very quickly in 2021 and 2022 - with a total of six children in 24 months! So far, 2023 is looking to possibly be just as busy... two down, four more to go!
