Jack Black Shares Touching Moment With Young Terminally Ill Super Fan

Celebrities have the ability to use their fame for good. They can work to make social change or draw attention to issues that are near and dear to their hearts. Many start their own non-profits or make public appearances to raise money for good causes.
Jack Black recently attended an event to raise capital for pediatric hospice and palliative care. There he met a young terminally ill superfan, 15-year-old Abraham. The pair shared a touching moment together when Jack sang him his favorite song from The School of Rock.

Abraham’s mom Veronica posted about the experience on Instagram. She wrote: “Abraham had the opportunity today to meet @jackblack !! Such a wonderful person!! He sang Abrhams favorite song from his favorite Jack Black movie “School of Rock”. Such joy in Abrhams face as he heard him sing!!”

Abraham suffers from Pearson syndrome. For the last year, he has been receiving care at Providence TrinityKids Care in Torrance, California. Meeting Jack was such a wonderful experience for him.

Jack met Abraham at the event Layla Paige and Friends Walk for TrinityKids Care. He has been involved with it for many years. To see his interaction with Abraham including his personal serenade watch this video.
