Kelly Clarkson’s Ex-Husband Demands That She Disable Security Cameras On Montana Ranch

Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock are officially divorced. It has been a long and painful at time journey for the former couple, and the battle isn’t completely over. Clarkson has to pay Blackstock child support and spousal support even though he only has the children one weekend a month. The rest of the time, they live with her in Los Angeles.

Currently, Blackstock is living in Montana on the couple’s ranch which was awarded to Clarkson in the divorce. Even though the ranch is Clarkson’s and not Blackstock’s, the court decided that Blackstock could keep living there until June 1st, 2022. In the meantime, he has to pay Clarkson rent.

Although he can only legally live at the ranch for less than a month, Blackstock has made another demand of Clarkson. He wants her to turn off the security cameras on the ranch.

Currently, there are 13 security cameras on the ranch. All of them face the exterior of the property. None of them are inside. The problem is that Clarkson has access to the security camera footage and images, so she is able to see who comes and goes from the ranch. Blackstock does not want her to have this access.

The Blast reports that new legal documents from Blackstock state, “Kelly Blackstock shall forthwith turn off all web-cams, trail cams, and any other security cameras at (the address) which are now approximately 13 in total.” In addition, Clarkson’s attorney’s are required to send proof to Blackstock that the cameras were disabled and “specify how that was accomplished.”

A judge in Los Angeles signed off on Blackstock’s request to have the security cameras disabled.

The demand from Blackstock does not specify why he wants the security cameras disabled. We do not know if there was a specific incident that caused him to make this demand or not. He has been living there with the security cameras on ever since Clarkson filed for divorce. It’s interesting that now, with just weeks to go before he is required to move out, that he would suddenly be concerned about the cameras.
