Multiple sources have confirmed that Gisele Bündchen has hired a divorce lawyer after months of rumors that she and husband Tom Brady have been experiencing major problems in their marriage. It appears that the turmoil began after Tom first retired, and then unretired, from the NFL.
Tom retired from the NFL for approximately a month and a half in the early half of 2022. A source explained to People that he is attempting to work things out, but that it might not be enough.
The source said, "They're hitting a rough patch. But I know they're trying, or at least he's trying, to figure it out and make it work. He wants to get through this and for things to get better."
This comes after a second source attempted to explain that Tom is "totally devoted" to his family when he's not playing football.
Gisele has not been present at any of Tom's games during the current NFL season, and the source added that choosing to return to the game has been detrimental to his marriage. They said, "Going back to Tampa after the retirement put a strain on the personal side of his life. Gisele is frustrated and sick of his career coming before their family, who has always supported him."
