The comments section was quickly flooded with hateful remarks, predominantly from young men, about Lambert's weight.
"Miranda Hambert," one user joked, while another called her "Miranda Lamburger." Other commenters told the Texan native she "needs to stay away from the waffle house."
Even nastier were the remarks targeting her relationship with ex-husband Blake Shelton, 46, whom she divorced in 2015.
"I think Blake dodged a bullet on this one!" one read.
Luckily, the Grammy winner's fans had her back, leaping to her defence.
"I have the same body type. She makes me feel safe," one user commented.
"All the comments about her body are from boys. They have no idea! She looks great!!" another wrote.
"That's HEALTHY WEIGHT," one fan chimed in. "You look AMAZING."
Since their divorce, both Lambert and Shelton have moved on. Shelton, who coaches on US TV show The Voice, married his co-star, Gwen Stefani, last year.

I chose not to comment on your body "flaws" in which there were many, so next time don't comment on mine. :)

Almost a decade later, it seems the nasty comments don't faze Lambert, who opened up about finding her strength to People in June, saying: “I just don’t give two s***s about people’s opinion of me, my marriage, my music or anything else."
"Without the hard stuff, I wouldn't be where I am," she proudly stated.
