On Wednesday, jurors came to a unanimous decision to reach each verdict in the 58-year-old actor's case against ex-wife Amber Heard.

After reportedly deliberating for around 12 hours over three days, the court ruled that the Pirates of the Caribbean star was entitled to $10 million in compensatory damages and punitive damages of $5 million. However, as Virginia state law caps punitive damages at $350,000, Depp will actually be awarded $10.35 million.

Meanwhile, the jury also awarded 36-year-old Heard $2 million in damages based on her $100 million countersuit.

This is the moment the verdict was read out in court:

Now, Depp has been spotted celebrating his win in a rather bizarre way; by visiting an animal rescue center in Tunbridge Wells, England.

After being spotted hanging out with locals in a UK pub, Depp has made some more friends - but these ones are covered in fur.

Taking to social media to share the news, officials at Folly Wildlife Rescue wrote on the organization's official Facebook page: "Guess who's been to see us at Folly Wildlife Rescue - no, you're not seeing things- that's the real Johnny Depp!"

The post also shows Depp cuddling an orphaned badger cub named Freddie (named after Queen frontman Freddie Mercury).

"As you probably know, Johnny has been appearing with our Patron Jeff Beck on his UK tour and in a recent break, Jeff's wife Sandra brought him up to visit us and see for himself the work we do with wildlife," staff at the center wrote.

"And what an incredible afternoon it was for our staff and volunteers, as he toured the hospital's care and vet units. Johnny was incredibly complimentary and in his own words 'blown away' by what he saw.

"To top the visit off, we even allowed him the rare privilege of briefly holding Freddie (as in Mercury!) one of the many orphaned badger cubs we're currently hand-rearing - and I think it's fair to say he was bowled over by the whole experience!"

In less than 20 hours, the post has already amassed over 10,000 reactions and 1,400 comments from stunned fans.

"This is why I love Mr. Depp. He loves and cares for the animals. And, oh yeah, he's a cool guy," one Facebook user wrote.

"He’s so lovely. A man who loves animals is good through and through and that can’t be faked. Animals can see right through us," another fan wrote. "Also how lovely for you and your staff. You totally deserved this support."

In another surprise appearance, Depp treated fans to a surprise performance alongside his friend and Yardbird guitarist, Jeff Beck, in Sheffield.
