The actor’s $50 million defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard continued yesterday in Virginia, where the court was shown a pre-taped video deposition from Alejandro Romero.
Romero, who worked as a doorman at Depp’s former apartment building in Los Angeles, spoke from his car as he vaped, at one point even driving off in his vehicle.
During the deposition, Romero was asked if he recalled seeing Heard on a specific date.
He hit back: “I don’t remember. I don’t even remember what I got for breakfast.”

On another occasion, Romero said he had been asked to investigate a potential intruder at the apartment after scratches were seen on the door.
Romero said Heard and her friend Rocky Pennington had been ‘scared’ when they thought someone was trying to get into the apartment, only for him to realise it was the ‘dog’.
He said: “Really? You think someone’s trying to get into your unit? There's scratches, like, four inches above the floor on your door... That was your dog, trying to get into the unit.”
At this point, Depp could be seen sniggering from his seat, leaning back and giggling as Heard remained expressionless.

“Like, come on, really?”
Depp’s former doorman also testified that he didn’t recalled ‘seeing any marks or bruises’ on Heard’s face in the days after police had been called to the home.
He said: “I just don’t remember any. I would’ve seen that and I would remember because that’s something that you would see.”
Romero also spoke about his frustration with the defamation case, saying he had been ‘so stressed out’ and didn’t ‘want to deal with this anymore’.

Romero also said he had been sent papers to review, adding: “I’ll be honest, I didn’t want to review them because it’s been so long.”
After the video was played in court Judge Penney Azcarate said in disbelief: “I’ve never seen that before.”
Heard’s lawyer Elaine Bredehoft also said it was ‘the most bizarre deposition’ she had ever done.
