Ireland Baldwin Slams Amber Heard: 'I Hope Johnny Gets His Reputation And His Life Back'

Ireland Baldwin has blasted Amber Heard over her abuse allegations against Johnny Depp in their ongoing defamation trial.

Heard, 35, and Depp, 58, are in the middle of a heated lawsuit, with the Pirates of the Caribbean star suing his ex-wife for defamation after she claimed to be a victim of domestic violence in a 2018 op-ed for The Washington Post.

Depp has received a great deal of support from his fanbase and now also from Ireland, who is the daughter of Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin.

The 26-year-old model defended the Edward Scissorhands star, while branding the Aquaman actress a "disaster of a human being".

Taking to her Instagram Story, Ireland shared a tweet featuring Depp's reaction to an audio clip of his ex-wife admitting to hitting him.

The text that accompanied the clip read: “The thing is, I know women who are exactly like this. They are manipulative and cold and they use their very womanhood to play victim and turn the world against the man because we live in a society where it's cool to say men are all the worst and blah blah f***ity blah.

“Men can experience abuse too and this absolute disaster of a human being is a terrible person, and I hope Johnny gets his reputation and his life back. And I hope he's in like five Pirates movies.”

While Heard never mentioned Depp by name in her 2018 op-ed, which he is suing her for, the actor argues that the piece cost him his reputation in Hollywood.

Throughout the trial, the pair's respective lawyers have accused the other of domestic violence, with Heard's legal team claiming that Depp kicked, punched, and sexually assaulted the actress with a liquor bottle.

Depp accuses his ex-wife of being responsible for severing his fingertip in an explosive argument. He also claims that he would often lock himself in the bathroom to escape his wife's apparent temper.

The Fantastic Beasts star has taken the stand at the trial and undergone cross-examination by Heard's counsel. The trial continues today (April 25) and will see Depp face further questioning from Heard's attorneys. Heard is also expected to testify later on in the trial.
