While she believed the sentence should have been shorter, Mrs Harrison has hit out at those getting involved in the case, such as Kim Kardashian.
The 41-year-old celebrity, who is training to become a lawyer in California, took to social media to call for the driver to have his sentenced reduced.
But Kathleen hit back saying: "I don't think that we want our local proceedings in any state taken over by who has the loudest mouth out there, because people don't know all the details, they are running on emotion."
Aguilera-Mederos told police he lost control of the truck's brakes before passing through a runaway truck ramp and crashing into lined-up traffic, causing a deadly explosion.
At trial he was found guilty on 42 counts, including vehicular homicide, first-degree-assault and careless driving - and was sentenced to 110 years in prison with Judge A Bruce Jones said his hands were tied when it came to sentencing as the state has mandatory minimum sentencing laws.
Following the sentencing hearing, over 4.8 million people signed a petition to grant clemency - the ability to give a person convicted of a criminal offence relief in the form of lowering the harshness of the punishment.

"I have never thought about hurting anyone in my entire life and Jesus Christ, he knows that, he knows my heart. I am not a criminal, I am not a murderer.”
