The Matrix star was the latest guest on The Drew Barrymore Show and the Charlie's Angels actor revealed the moment when Reeves made her day.

Way back then, the two actors starred together in the 1986 film, Babes in Toyland, and Barrymore remembered one particular moment where Reeves made it a memorable sweet sixteenth.

Whilst partying at a club on her birthday, Reeves was said to have walked straight in, grabbed Barrymore by the hand and after walking outside of the venue, placed her on his motorbike and took her for a joyride through the streets of LA.

The flight, which was bound for Barbados, ended up having to be grounded just before take-off after the pilot received the bad news whilst in the cockpit.

Among the passengers was Darcy Bourne, 20, a professional hockey player who plays for England, who chronicled the whole saga in a series of TikTok videos.

Darcy had boarded her flight from London at 9am and started to become agitated after the flight still hadn't taken off nearly two hours later.

After a considerable delay, the passengers were then informed that they could not leave the plane as the pilot had tested positive for coronavirus

“You took me on the ride of my life,” Barrymore told Reeves.

“And I was so free, I was such a free human being, and it was just this moment where I just remember loving life and being so happy and I hold it so dear because the older we get, the harder it is to get to that feeling."

“Oh wow,” replied Reeves, “We probably went fast.”

“So fast!” Barrymore replied.

“He showed up at my 16th birthday party and took me on a motorcycle ride I will never forget. We just blasted through the streets.

"It was at night and the streets were empty, and it was one of those moments where I’ll never forget it."

Well, as we're all aware, this isn't the first time the John Wick actor has done something nice for another colleague.

Reeves starred in the 1994 movie Speed alongside Sandra Bullock, which was the start of an enduring friendship.

Bullock told Esquire that on one occasion, about a year after shooting Speed, she and Reeves got on to the subject of champagne and truffles and how she'd never had them.

Bullock was painting her nails with a friend at the time, but she invited him in, they drank the champagne and she painted his nails too.

He didn't stay for long though, as he had a date to get to.

Bullock said: "When I first met him, I would spend as much time as I could filling a silence, just to feel comfortable.

"And the more I jibber-jabbered on, the quieter he would get. And I thought, 'I don't understand what's happening! He's looking at me with eyes of confusion. He's quiet. Did I say something to offend him?'

"And then a day or two later, he would arrive with a note or a little package, saying, 'I thought about what you said', and he would have his response.

"How many people do you know like that?"

Not many, Sandra... not many.
