This Barbershop Quartet’s Version Of Shaggy’s ‘It Wasn’t Me’ Is Absolutely Brilliant

Anyone that’s ever even considered what life would be like back in the past if you retained the knowledge of today would be like, well, this is what I would imagine the entertainment to end up as. This incredible barbershop quartet got together to perform a rendition of Shaggy’s famous hit song “It Wasn’t Me” in a way that’s never been done before, and was probably never meant to be done in the first place. Either way, those old-school tones and their vocal harmony all lead you to feel like you’re back in the early 1900’s listening to a song that no one else would understand. If you think about it that way it’s absolutely hysterical, but it still doesn’t take away from the performance in the slightest! See for yourself:

Could you imagine the looks of disgust on people’s faces back in the 1920’s if they ever learned what that song truly meant? Sometimes we can forget, but people were fairly prudent back then, limiting and restricting themselves in the craziest ways due to a lack of knowledge and technology. Well, that’s not something we’ll ever be able to find out, but at the very least every time you hear this song you’ll be able to picture it in your mind!
