This Fitness Blogger's Photographs Show Just How Much Bloating Can Affect Your Body

Sometimes when you’re feeling a little peckish you might head over to the kitchen to grab a snack. Perhaps you’ll just nibble on some carrots or maybe gobble down an entire Thanksgiving dinner? Either way, after you stuff your face with some delicious food you could end up feeling a little bloated.

Tiffany Brien is a blogger from Belfast, Ireland who is known for her inspiration fitness posts online. The former Miss Northern Ireland title holder recently took to Facebook to show that she also tries to present herself in an idealistic way on social media.

She posted a ‘before and after’ collage of herself. One half of the image featured her with a bloated stomach and the other half showed a stomach that was flat as a board. The pictures were taken just 12 hours apart.

‘We are not all what we seem on social media. I thought I would share a bad day with you to show you nobody is ‘perfect’ and it is ok to have an off day where your body just decides to not play ball,’ she wrote online.

She explains saying that she too deals with insecurities and being self conscious at times. But in order to avoid getting bloated, she tries to pinpoint the cause of it.

According to the blogger, stress, sleep, and hormones are the three main suspects that comes to mind. She end’s off the post giving her readers a bit of advice.

‘I am in no way perfect. In fact I am miles away from being a role model when it comes to looking after myself fully in this sense. We all have our areas of weakness. I know what I am doing wrong and I know how to fix it but it is actually implementing it into your lifestyle that's the tough bit.’
