Not all heroes wear capes, but this one certainly does and he’s on a quest to save us from clownageddon.
Just in case you’ve been living under a rock for the last few weeks, you’ve probably seen this creepy clown craze that swept across the United States.
We thought we were safe as it was confined to the U.S, at first, but it has since appeared across the pond and for someone who has an irrational fear of clowns (like me) it’s an absolute fucking nightmare.
There have been a spate of incidents across the country, with people adorning clown get-ups and terrorising schoolkids everywhere.
But don’t worry everyone, Batman is here to save the people of one of these affected towns, trading Gotham for, err… Whitehaven in Cumbria.
The caped crusader was seen chasing off a ‘killer clown’ recently, apparently sent out by local costume company Cumbria Superheroes, The Mirror reports.
The superhero is not acting as a vigilante, but is hoping to reassure the scared children of the area and hopefully help them sleep a bit better at night.
With him around, hopefully the children and perhaps even adults, can feel safe once again.
