The World’s Most Frightening Attraction Just Opened And It’s Not For The Faint Of Heart

Some people travel with the intentions of sightseeing and relaxing, however, others globetrot seeking thrills. There are a number of places that offer tourist attractions not for the faint of heart, including:

    New Zealand’s Kawarau Bridge Jump
    Zambia’s Devil’s Pool
    Norway’s BASE jumping
    Toronto's CN Tower EdgeWalk

China’s new tourist attraction now offers something for those looking to get the heart racing, the vertigo-inducing Coiling Dragon Cliff skywalk.

The breathtaking new skywalk gives tourists a palm sweating view like no other.

It is called Coiling Dragon Cliff skywalk, and it opened on August 1, 2016. Take a look! The skywalk is 100-meters long and is made of glass!

It snakes around Tianmen Mountain which is located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. There are 99 turns, and the width of the path is only 5-feet, the platform is about one mile high.

The Coiling Dragon is the third walkway of its kind in the Tianmen Mountain area. Did we mention it is made of glass?! The skypath offers a breathtaking view, but may not be for everyone!

This is the third glass walkway in the Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area that takes advantage of the incredible surroundings.

The Coiling Dragon Cliff skywalk opened to the public in early August and has since since many brave tourists walk the path.

The area is an incredibly popular tourist stop and has multiple attractions to offer including a 30 minute cable car that transports people from a nearby train station to the top of the mountain.

The first skywalk in the mountainous area opened in 2011, but the Coiling Dragon Cliff skywalk easily takes the prize for the most thrilling.

The Coiling Dragon Cliff path was originally made out of wood, but was converted to a glass bottom to give guests the full experience.
