I have to admit something to you all. I’m a terrible dancer. And because I’m a bad dancer, it’ll take quite a bit of encouragement from people around me to get me to dance at a social gathering.
There are some people out there, however, that love dancing. So much in fact, that they refuse to let even a disability stop them.
Taylor Florence is a 6 year old girl diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, a group of movement disorders that result in poor coordination and weak muscles. Taylor is unable to move without a walker, which severely hampers her ability to do things that girls her age love to do — like dance. If you think that would stop Taylor, however, you’re absolutely wrong.
In the following video, you’ll watch Taylor dancing to her favorite song by Taylor Swift. Taylor needed a custom designed harness and shoes, but she’s able to pull it off. There’s nothing more heartwarming than watching a child doing what she loves!
