A remarkable display of friendship when a man from Texas, Graham McMillan finds out he is able to donation his kidney to his close friend, Danny Kolzow. Kolzow, a nurse working at Fort Worth Texas, has a genetic condition called Alport syndrome that affects his kidneys. Kolzow’s kidney at the time were only functioning at seven percent efficiency. As his conditions worsened over time, it came to a point where he desperately needed a kidney transplant.

After a five hour surgery, the transplant was successful and the two are home on a speedy recovery. After a few days, Kolzow messaged his friend McMillan and informed him that the kidney was working at 1.13. A rate that is even better than the average kidney. The two said they hope their story can spread a message to everyone about friendship and faith. Kolzow said “What an amazing act of love that Graham is doing in offering me an organ from his own body so that I can continue on in this life.” Kolzow then posted a video online saying thank you to his dear friend McMillan where we can clearly see the happiness in his face. I hope this article about the two warms your hearts as it did mine.
