This is a story of a man called Dan and his beloved dog, whom he loved with all his life, called Zanto. Dan went to Denmark with his dog, and that was the mistake he made. He was given eight days to prove that Zanto wasn’t one of the country’s banned breeds, but unfortunately Zanto was, but it wasn’t his fault. Zanto was a pit bull and in Denmark, a pit bull is a banned breed.
Eight days later the authorities forcefully took Zanto away from Dan and euthanized him. Dan was heartbroken and felt like he had failed his beloved dog. He loved Zanto so much that he couldn’t bear the pain of him not being around so Dan committed suicide through an overdose on pain medication.

This is so wrong. I wish there was a way we could help Dan and Zanto. RIP, now no one’s going to separate you ever…
PS. On June 11, 2014, Denmark adopted amendments to the Danish Act on Dogs, which ban thirteen dog breeds including:
Pit Bull Terrier
American Staffordshire Terrier
Caucasian Shepherd Dog
South Russian Shepherd Dog
Central Asian Shepherd Dog
