Any parent knows that it can be very difficult to leave your child at day care. Not only is it no fun at all to be separated from your little one, but you also want to make sure that you can trust the people working there to take good care of your baby.
There are way too many horror stories of children being left behind or abused by the very day care workers who are supposed to keep them safe until their parents are able to collect them and bring them home.
It’s every parent’s nightmare to get that phone call that the place they chose to leave their child isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be.
For Alex Rios, owner of Kids’ Kollege Learning Center, his employee Veronica Solis is an asset to his team. Even while battling cancer, Solis never missed a day of work.
However, Solis was having trouble getting to work in the morning as she doesn’t have her own car. Solis insisted that Rios hire someone new that could take her place and be on time.
Rios realized that he didn’t want to lose Solis as an employee, so he did the unthinkable and bought her a car with his own money so that she can get to work.
It’s people like this that remind you of the good in the world!
