This Stray Kitten Wandered Into A News Broadcast And Won Our Hearts

One of our guilty pleasures is watching news anchors and reporters mess up on live television (#sorrynotsorry) but we prefer news bloopers even more when there is something fluffy and cute involved. WXYZ-TV Channel 7 in Detroit blessed us with such a news clip. Reporter Nima Shaffe was on location doing a live report when a str ay kitten showed up to help out.

Here's a behind-the-scenes look at the kitten's newscast debut.
This disruptive kitten charmed lots of fans online, so it got its own news story.

Shaffe and videographer Andy Zaremba fell in love with the kitten pretty quickly, so they named her Lucky Seven.

You can hear the kitten contribute to a broadcast at the very end of this clip (skip to the last couple seconds to hear it meow).

...And, of course, there were lots of cute pictures.
Thanks to her star quality, Lucky Seven may be getting a home soon.

Our new favorite kitten has been taken in Humane Society of Huron Valley and will be put up for adoption in a few weeks. Given all the Twitter love, we have a feeling she'll have a new home pretty soon.
