Soldier Pays For His Order At Taco Bell, But Wait Until You See Who He's Ordering For...

Army Lieutenant Colonel Risdon made a stop at a local Taco Bell. He was hungry and wanted to buy food, when he was approached by two young boys.
The boys, ages 9 and 13, approached Colonel Risdon and asked him if he would like to support their church. They were soaking wet from the heavy rain outside. The boys had traveled all around the neighborhood in hopes of selling homemade desserts to raise funds for their church.
Seeing how exhausted the boys were, Colonel Risdon asked if they were hungry.
The boys replied saying they had not had dinner yet, so Colonel Risdon took matters into his own hands. He told the boys to order anything they wanted from the menu at Taco Bell. It was his treat!
The boys were overwhelmed by the gesture. They had never had an interaction like this before, and they did not know where to start with so many options on the menu. After they ordered, Colonel Risdom decided to buy them a few extra tacos and drinks to help wash it all down.
The boys were going home with a stuffed stomach!
For those of us who do not know Colonel Risdon, he is the Deputy Chief of Staff for the 82nd Airborne Division. He has spent the vast majority of life serving this country and providing direction and guidance for other military divisions.
While his actions may have gone viral on the Internet, Colonel Risdon insists that he stay out of the spotlight. He didn’t think he did anything special, and he tells Huffington Post,
“I’m kinda embarrassed and humbled by the praise and don’t need it. I am a believer that we live in the best country in the world with the best people and that acts of kindness happen every day.”
