Laura Bretan is only 13, but she has the voice of an experienced opera star. The adorably lanky teen was anxious to sing in front of the America's Got Talent judges, especially Simon Cowell, but when her nerves subsided, she gave the performance of a lifetime.
When she opened her mouth, a beautiful, angelic opera voice escaped. Laura's powerful skill wasn't what anyone expected from her - but she completed the rest of the song without faltering and nervously awaited the judges' assessments of her performance. Laura's life was about to be changed forever and she didn't even know it!
The usually grouchy Simon couldn't contain his excitement for a second longer, exclaiming, "That just happened! I have never heard anything like that in all the years I've been doing this show. Seriously... It was unbelievable! What made it even better is the fact that at you are such as sweet person. So humble! Not even aware of how amazing you are!" Before Simon could beat her to it, Mel B slammed her hand down on the Golden Buzzer! We're going to see Laura during the live shows later on this season!
