She Wrote This Song 33 Years Ago, But When She Tries To Sing It Again, I’m In Awe!

Premiering on her debut 1983 album She’s So Unusual, “Time After Time” has won over 7 awards to date.
When “Time After Time” was released by Lauper, it became her first ever number one record to hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1984.
Similarly, the song was placing in the top 10 in countries all over the world.
Officially released on January 27, 1984, “Time After Time” was actually said to be one of the last songs written for the album.
The song was made after hits including “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” and “She bop,” which were also featured singles for this album, yet it took the release of “Time After Time” to take Lauper to the very top of the charts.
Dressed in a tight fitting leather jacket accented with large white lapels, Lauper sits at the front of a large stage as she is accompanied by her band.
With her guitar laying flat on her lap, Lauper strums a basic tune before adding in her beautiful vocals.
As Cyndi sings this powerful song, the crowd cannot help but silently watch in amazement.
