Choosing an avocado that is just ripe enough is an entire art of its own. Often in the quest for that perfectly ripe avocado, you end up with at least one that isn’t ripe enough. Don’t fret! You can still chow down on that stubbornly hard avocado with this neat little kitchen hack.

Let’s get started!
Preheat the oven to 90 degrees Celsius/195 degrees Fahrenheit.
Wrap the avocado in some foil.
Place the avocado in the oven for 10 minutes.
Use the tongs to remove the avocado from the oven and move it to the fridge for another 10 minutes.
Remove from fridge and slice up the avocado.
